FAQs
Can I use it on wet or dry hair?
Yes, one mode at a time. Use Blowout Mode on towel-dried, damp hair. Do not use it on dripping-wet hair. Use Thermal Styler Mode on completely dry hair only. The two modes cannot be used at the same time.
What is the difference between the two modes?
Blowout Mode uses airflow and infrared heat to dry and style damp hair. It has three airflow speeds: low, medium and high. Thermal Styler Mode turns off the airflow and uses the heated barrel to shape, smooth and refresh dry hair. It has three heat settings: 350°F, 400°F and 450°F.
How do I switch modes? Is there a lock?
Press and hold the button for the mode you want for 3 seconds. There is no temperature lock, but the 3-second press helps prevent switching modes by accident.
What hair types can use it?
All hair types. For fine hair, start on the lowest heat setting. For thick, coarse or frizz-prone hair, increase the heat setting as needed.
Will it create curls?
No. The 55mm (2.2 in.) oval barrel is designed for volume, movement and a soft blowout shape, not tight curls.
How is it different from the Infrared Thermal Brush?
The Infrared Thermal Brush is for dry hair only. The Infrared 2-in-1 adds Blowout Mode, which uses airflow to dry damp hair. It also has a larger 55mm barrel, rounded anti-tug bristles and dual voltage.
Is it safe for daily use?
Yes, when used as directed. Always use a heat protectant and choose the right heat setting for your hair type. The tool turns off automatically after 60 minutes.
Can I travel with it?
Yes. The tool is dual voltage. You may need a plug adapter depending on the country.
