Step 1: Prep your hair

  1. Towel-dry and detangle. Hair should be damp, not dripping.
  2. Apply a heat protectant.
  3. Divide your hair into sections. Clip up the top layers so you can work from underneath.
  4. Slide the power switch up to turn the tool on.

Step 2: Dry and style in Blowout Mode

  1. Press and hold the middle button (water drop icon) for 3 seconds.
  2. Short press to choose your airflow speed. Low is gentle and good for finishing touches. High dries fastest.
  3. Starting at the roots, glide the brush slowly through each section while rotating the barrel.
  4. Keep going until each section is completely dry.

Step 3: Shape and refresh in Thermal Styler Mode

  1. Press and hold the top button (flame icon) for 3 seconds. The airflow switches off.
  2. Short press to choose your heat setting (see below).
  3. Brush through each section with light tension to shape the ends, smooth frizz and add volume.

Thermal Styler Mode is for dry hair only. Never use it on damp hair.

Which heat setting is right for you?

Lights Heat Best for
1 350°F Fine or delicate hair
2 400°F Medium or textured hair
3 450°F Thick or coarse hair

Start on the lowest setting and only turn it up if you need to.

Tips for a longer-lasting blowout

  • Work in small sections. Smaller sections dry faster and come out smoother.
  • Let each section cool before you touch it. Hair sets its shape as it cools.
  • Refresh second-day hair with Thermal Styler Mode instead of rewashing.
  • Don't switch modes mid-section. Finish drying first, then switch to Thermal Styler Mode.
